Sridivya joined HOSA in her sophomore year, not knowing what she wanted to do in the future, and quickly began to love the competition and the community that comes along with it as she developed into an active member in Rocky Hill High School’s chapter. This is her second year doing HOSA, and she continues to expand her knowledge in healthcare and deepen her involvement in the organization.
HOSA has given her a strong sense of purpose, connecting her with like-minded individuals who share similar aspirations in the medical field. As secretary, she does not view this role as just a title; to her, it means an opportunity to learn, collaborate with others, and prepare for a future career in healthcare.
Sridivya is passionate about dermatology and public health, and aims to bring equity and inclusivity to the field. Outside of school, she spends time listening to music, exploring topics in dermatology, mentoring other students in healthcare, or spending time with friends. As 2026-2027 secretary, she hopes to help grow engagement in CT HOSA and continue to build a supportive and like-minded community.
