Mahima Kokathirti

CT HOSA Vice President of Photography

“You owe it to yourself to be the best you can be.” – Christian Pulisic

HOSA has not only inspired Mahima’s journey through high school but has also helped shape her vision for the future. Her journey with HOSA first started in her freshman year of high school, where she joined the club, hoping to find a community of passionate, like-minded individuals and a way to explore her interest in the healthcare field. The enthusiasm and support from her peers and teachers motivated her to contribute actively to this positive and uplifting environment.

Mahima is now a junior at Farmington High School and serves as her local chapter’s Fundraising Chair and as the Connecticut HOSA Vice President of Photography. In both roles, she continues to uplift others and strengthen the spirit of collaboration and service that defines HOSA.

Outside of HOSA, Mahima is the co-president of UNICEF, Women in STEM & Business, and CS Outreach, and co-captain of Model UN. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. As she continues her HOSA journey, Mahima hopes to promote equity, representation, and empowerment, ensuring that all students feel seen, supported, and inspired to pursue careers in healthcare.
