Kruthika Tanniru

CT HOSA President-Elect

Kruthika is a sophomore at Farmington High School who joined HOSA her freshman year to explore her passion for healthcare and pursue an active role in a community dedicated to service. From the moment she joined, she was deeply inspired by how HOSA empowers students to make a true impact and is beyond grateful for the supportive community and amazing opportunities provided.

A pivotal moment in her journey was attending the International Leadership Conference in 2025, where she connected with aspiring healthcare professionals from around the world. This inspired her to seek deeper involvement in HOSA and contribute to something bigger than her local chapter, which led her to her current role as State Vice President.

Within her school community, Kruthika is actively involved in several organizations and holds leadership roles in the American Red Cross, FBLA, and, of course, HOSA. Beyond her academic and extracurricular commitments, Kruthika enjoys playing tennis, crocheting, baking, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. Her drive comes from turning these passions to purpose, and she is currently working on her “Gift of Giving” initiative, teaching kids and teens how to crochet, selling handmade items, and donating to healthcare-related causes, transforming hobbies into real impact.
