Fiona Zhang
CT HOSA Vice President of Community Development
Fiona joined HOSA in her sophomore year of high school. Hoping to learn more about her passion for healthcare, she dedicated time to being an active member of the HOSA Chapter at Farmington High School. Within HOSA, she found a community of like-minded individuals with a resolve to provide quality health care for those in need. Proving her dedication to the club, Fiona became Head of Advertising for the 2024-2025 HOSA season for the Farmington Chapter. In this role, Fiona was able to incorporate her passion for creativity and the arts into HOSA through photography, graphic design, and social media management. For the 2025-2026 HOSA season, Fiona will continue her mission to boost community engagement for Connecticut HOSA as Vice President of Community Development and as Vice President for Farmington’s HOSA Chapter.
In the future, Fiona hopes to pursue a career in Orthodontic Dentistry, hoping to study Biology or Biochemistry as an undergraduate. Outside of HOSA, Fiona spends time volunteering at a local hospital, baking, spending time with friends, and working as a part of leadership for the American Red Cross Club, the Chemistry Club, and Farmington HOSA. Fiona hopes that her influence in Connecticut HOSA will be just one of the first steps in promoting quality, equitable healthcare and fostering a community dedicated to the well-being of others
